
Located on the second floor of the building and is accessible from the lobby by two staircases or an elevator. The ballroom space extends to the exterior walls at the north, south, and west, with large windows that provide scenic views of the lagoon and surrounding dune landscape. A series of decorative columns, offset fifteen feet from the exterior walls, along with a vaulted ceiling define the two story central space. The original terrazzo floors and decorative plasterwork at the columns and walls were recently restored. The fifteen foot perimeter area around the central space has a lower, barrel-vaulted ceiling.
There are two bars in the Ballroom, located at east and west ends of the ballroom. The Marquette Park Pavilion’s main kitchen is located immediately adjacent to the ballroom. The terrazzo stairways that provide access to the ballroom area from the lobby continue upward to a mezzanine level that overlooks the ballroom. From the mezzanine the stairs continue and provide access to a unisex restroom and two dressing rooms.

An open air Dance Pavilion is located on the south side of the Marquette Park Pavilion. Set several feet higher than the surrounding grade, it is accessible from the Marquette Park Pavilion by a bridge, or from the park by means of stairways located to the east and west.

The Lower Terrace is located directly west of the Marquette Park Pavilion. The lower terrace area includes a loggia at the west end of the Formal Lounge, and open air patio space, and a grand stairways leading to the lagoon shore. A set of concrete steps is located between open air Dance Pavilion and the Lower Terrace, providing access between the two outdoor event spaces.
The sculpture was placed at the entrance to Marquette Park at Grand Boulevard and Marquette Drive in a dedication ceremony in July of 1932.Rental availability for small gatherings and intimate weddings.”
The sunken Lower Lounge is located west of the lobby, approximately four feet below the first floor level. The lounge is accessible by a terrazzo staircase, as well as a lift elevator, from the lobby. The space opens up onto an exterior loggia and the Lower Terrace, with views to the lagoon. During the recent renovation, many of the original spaces and architectural details in the formal lounge were restored, including the original bar and kitchen area. A unisex restroom is located at the east end of the Formal Lounge.
