Immediate response measures include efforts to reduce flooding, clear roads and neighborhoods of dangerous debris, and remove storm-damaged structures that pose a threat to public safety. In addition, the city is mobilizing resources to provide vital relief and support to affected community members.

“Our primary focus is the safety and recovery of our community,” said Mayor Eddie Melton. “We are committed to working tirelessly alongside emergency responders and city officials to restore normalcy and support those impacted by this severe weather event.”
