Meet and Greet Event with Mayor Melton and ARPA Small Business Grant Recipients

GARY, IND. The City of Gary invites you to a special Meet and Greet event with Mayor Eddie Melton and the Director of Constituent Services, Kianna Grant. This event provides an opportunity for local Gary businesses that have received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants to be officially recognized by city leadership and celebrate their achievements. During this event, the small business owners will be presented with their checks and take pictures with city leadership.

Key Speakers:

City of Gary Mayor Eddie Melton: Mayor Eddie Melton will share information on the Small Business Grant Program that was put in place in 2023, including the evaluation process as well as small business requirements.

Director of Constituent Services, Kianna Grant: Kianna Grant will speak about the Melton Administration’s commitment to supporting the small business community in Gary, as well as the resilience and innovation of our local entrepreneurs.

Local Gary Business Owners: Local business owners will be invited to speak about how this grant program will help their businesses.
