The City of Gary congratulates its partners, the Gary Chicago International Airport and the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, on organizing a successful 2024 Airshow. Despite some challenges due to inclement weather, many residents and visitors enjoyed a spectacular show at Marquette Park.
Additionally, the City of Gary thanks the Gary Fire Department and Gary Police Department for their hard work and dedication during Air Show Weekend, along with every agency that worked to keep the Air Show safe this weekend, including:
the US Coast Guard, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Lake County Sheriff, Indiana District 1 MCI team, South Haven Fire Department, Hobart Dive Team, Franciscan Health Crown Point EMS, Around The Clock EMS, Jasper County EMS, Preferred One EMS, District 1 EMS Element, Methodist Hospital, Ogden Dunes Fire Department, Columbia City Fire Department, Keener Township Fire Department, and Munster Fire Department.
