Delayed Opening of City Buildings

December 3, 2024

We are pleased to inform the public that City Hall, Hudson, Campbell, and Fire Station 1 will be open today, December 3, 2024, at 11:00 am and that heat has been restored. Additional Additionally, traffic on Broadway Avenue between 4th and 5th Avenue has also been reopened.

The City of Gary appreciates the support of NIPSCO, who swiftly investigated the reported gas leaks and performed emergency repairs in the area.
