City of Gary Mosquito Spraying Schedule – Summer 2025

To protect public health and reduce the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses, the City of Gary’s Department of Health and Human Services will conduct truck spraying throughout the summer.

What Residents Should Know :

  • Purpose: To control mosquito populations and prevent the spread of viruses
  • Safety: The spray used is safe for people, pets, and the environment. You do not need to stay indoors during spraying.
  • Schedule: Spraying is divided by city sections and is dependent on weather and truck availability.
