A Special Opportunity for Gary Non-Profits With Diesel Vehicles

Gary Non-Profits,

Today, you have the opportunity to replace your diesel vehicles through a transportation emissions reduction initiative. If you own a diesel vehicle and are interested, please click this link to complete the survey.

Up to $250,000 is available for replacing diesel vehicles under a Supplemental Environmental Program (SEP) sponsored by BP Whiting Refinery. This funding is specifically for non-profits located within the city of Gary.

All submissions will be reviewed by BP and city representatives, and selected applicants will be notified.

The survey will remain open until September 15th, 2024.

These funds are part of a settlement announced earlier in 2024 between BP Products North America Inc., the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Justice.
